Do you have a couple of hours to spare each week and like gardening? If so, we would love you to get in touch.
We are looking for volunteers to help us maintain the garden at the Cottage Museum. We need help with weeding, planting and watering and in the autumn and winter, leaf collecting. We have a gardening professional who does the heavy work like hedges and grass cutting, and he will be able to offer guidance about what needs doing and when. You do not need to be an expert but an interest in gardening, being outside and a friendly attitude will help in this volunteer role. We have lots of visitors to the museum from all over the country so you will have the opportunity to welcome and chat to our guests while you work.
We are a friendly group and have optional monthly volunteer coffee mornings for all our volunteers to meet each other and find out more about what is going on at the museum.
For more information about becoming a garden volunteer email:
info@thecottagemuseum.co.uk or telephone 01526 352456 and we will get back to you.
