76th Arnhem Anniversary Remembrance Service
Today saw members of the Royal British Legion and others attend the 76th Arnhem Anniversary Remembrance Service at the monument in the front garden of the Cottage Museum. As always it was a quiet somber event to remember those who went to Arnhem in 1944 and didn’t return. A wreath was laid having been blessed by the local vicar. As time goes by fewer survivors are left to remember these brave men and it was heartening to see Woodhall Spa residents gather to remember together.
