Annual Lecture 2021

Saturday 13th November saw a great turnout of over 70 people at our Annual Lecture hosted at the Golf Hotel, (thanks to Mrs Patel for the host venue). The guest speaker was retired Air Vice-Marshal Paul Robinson OBE FRAeS who spoke very eloquently about a subject obviously close to his heart. His knowledgeable subject was Lancasters, Lincolnshire and the International Bomber Command Centre. I for one found the talk extremely informative.
Teas, coffees and biscuits were provided at the interval and an opportunity to purchase museum books, raffle tickets and a chance to win a print of a painting by David Waller of two Lancasters in flight. The latest book by Marjorie Sargeant sold well as Marjorie was in the audience and had signed all the copies available.
