Arnhem 73rd anniversary commemoration service
Images from the recent Arnhem commemoration service held in both St Peter’s Church and the Cottage Museum garden at the Arnhem memorial.
Old soldiers, family and friends attended in addition to a contingent of army cadets. Wreaths were laid and a lone cornet player sounded the last post and reveille. Teas and cakes were available from the courtyard cafe and gave old friends the opportunity to catch up with each other. A good crowd stood reverently respecting the minutes silence.
