First Volunteers Coffee Morning of 2021

Today, Wednesday 4th August, saw a gathering of our museum volunteers for the first of our coffee mornings of 2021. It was organised by the Friends Committee Chairman, John Wilkinson and deputy, Annette Southcott and attended by fourteen people for an update on forthcoming events and a general chat. Teas, coffees, biscuits and cakes were readily consumed, served up by Annette and Judy who cleared everything up afterwards. It was good to see these volunteers enjoying the fruits of their labours as the museum and it’s surroundings are looking at their best at the moment. John said that he hoped to see friends and volunteers at the next and subsequent coffee mornings planned for the 1st Wednesday of the next two months, September and October at 10:30. Additionally any Friends of the museum can request a guided tour of the latest museum displays in the hour following the coffee mornings.
