Future of Tourist Information Centres
East Lindsey District Council is undertaking a public consultancy process regarding the future of Community Access Points (CAPs) and Tourist Information Centres (TICs) throughout the East Lindsey area. Due to budgetary constraints ELDC have to make savings of £6M over the next four years and CAPs and TIC services are being reconsidered.
Since 1991 a TIC has been located within the Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum and serves the whole of the Woodhall Spa and surrounding area with tourist information and general local guidance. Funding for this service is planned to cease as of November 2016.
The consultation closes on Friday, June 17, 2016, at 5pm.
